Product functionality

EZ-OUT is installed as a new printer. Using settings that you define, the software detects which of the documents in a print job are to be sent by email, converts those documents to PDF files, routes them to your email server, and sends them as email messages to your customers. The default driver you normally use for printing on paper will be used for all other documents.

Previous versions of EZ-OUT converted documents to image files with PNG format. EZ-OUT 2-2 converts them to PDF 1.2 format. Acrobat Reader 3.0 or later is needed to view these files. You can download Acrobat Reader free of charge.

Prerequisites

EZ-OUT is compatible with Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 4, Windows 2000 with Service Pack 2, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003.

You must have online Internet access to use EZ-OUT in its default email connection mode. If you configure EZ-OUT to send email via your email server, you must have online access to your SMTP email server. Refer to EZ-OUT Help for more information about email connection.

Contact your system administrator if you require more information about your mail server system.
